2008 is the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Join the UN's yearlong campaign to mark this anniversary. You can do so by downloading the 60th anniversary logo, or by signing the Declaration. Post your projects and initiatives on this website and see what other are planning. Work in partnership with us and initiate one of the projects already posted on KYR in your country.

As of July 2008, the Know your Rights website was launched in eight European languages and in the user-friendly html version .

Meet the UN's Special Rapporteurs and hear their messages by clicking on Facts. Watch testimonies from people around the world on 6 billion Others, or listen to the Declaration in different languages or in rap music.
